Location : Hanover, PA This plant manufactures 2-piece and 3-piece steel cans for the food industry over various shift operations.

The Hanover Plant is located on Rt 94 in York County and is in close proximity to York, PA, Gettysburg, PA, and the Maryland border.

CURRENT OPENINGS ARE ON CONTINUOUS SCHEDULE; 4x4;5p-5a. Position Overview : The Production Line Maintainer, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor, will be responsible for maintenance of and operating a production line or designated area of the production line (depending on assigned work area), performing quality checks and making mechanical adjustments to the line based on the quality readings.

Duties And Responsibilities : The Production Line Maintainer s responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following : Safety first attitude to work effectively in a team environment Responsible for the mechanical performance of automated production machines and equipment that performs one or more functions in the making of high-quality steel cans Make necessary adjustments, repair, and / or changes to equipment and machines Direct and assist in set up equipment and changeovers Daily use of micrometer, dial indicators, and other precision measuring equipment to make educated decisions in the operation of machines and equipment in area of responsibility Use SPC and Process control to maintain production of quality products at all times Relieve slitter for breaks (3 piece) Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned Minimum Requirements Manufacturing experience Must be available to work various shifts if needed and be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime to cover absences or provide additional support Preferred Requirements High School Education / GED Previous demonstrated industrial maintenance experience Knowledge of all OSHA related training in a manufacturing environment.
