Job Summary of Billing Clerk:

Enhance the customer shopping experience at ALDI by working as a Billing Clerk within our dynamic team. Duties include using registers and machinery, restocking shelves, keeping the store presentable, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities of Billing Clerk:

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Conducts customer transactions, executes general cleaning and sanitation tasks, restores stocks to shelves and sets up merchandise displays systematically
• Delivers exceptional customer assistance, guiding individuals through their shopping experience
• Submits a detailed inventory assessment to the management, highlighting any product stock-out concerns, uncertainties, and variances regarding stock levels, scanning errors, and other inventory losses
• Adheres to inventory count procedures and keeps track of stock levels accuracy
• It is important to adhere to cash policies and procedures in order to mitigate any potential losses

Physical Demands of Billing Clerk:

• Being physically active is a crucial aspect of the job requirements for employees at the store, who frequently move into postures such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking about

Qualifications of Billing Clerk:

• Knowledge of products and services of the company
• Cashier: Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Cashier: Comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
• You must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
