RAYUS Radiology, formerly known as the Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our innovative team. We're committed to redefining radiology, emphasizing its crucial role in diagnosis and treatment. Join us and contribute to our shared brilliance! As an MRI Technologist, you'll operate assigned scanners to generate diagnostic images of patients' bodies. Embracing a patient-centered approach, you'll deliver MRI services with professionalism and exceptional customer care. Patients rely on us for answers, and you'll play a vital role in guiding them through the process with empathy and clarity. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

(90%) Patient MRI Imaging

  • Conduct pre-exam screenings of patients, ensuring their safety and confirming procedure details.
  • Prepare and educate patients about MRI procedures, ensuring proper positioning for accurate scans.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on various body parts, providing continuous support and communication throughout.
  • Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed for optimal results.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, physicians, and patients.
  • Adhere meticulously to physicians' orders and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the work environment, in adherence to safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.

(5%) MRI Department Support

  • Assist in updating imaging protocols and software.
  • Monitor and manage medical supply inventory.
  • Provide training and technical support to new associates.

(5%) Additional Responsibilities

  • Complete any other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

Required:

  • Current ARRT registration in radiologic technology.
  • Completion of training at an AMA-approved radiography school.
  • Licensing as a Radiological Technologist in the relevant state, if applicable.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience in independently performing MRI procedures.
  • Certification in imaging specialty.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual proficiency.
