Mechanical Assembler

Description:

• This role is responsible for leading the assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets.
• Ability to plan and perform large and complex assemblies with ability to direct others with minimum supervision.
• Assist with assembly jobs as assigned.
• Perform inspection throughout the entire process to ensure quality and reduce scheduled time for job.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. May operate variety of hand and power tools such as band saw, drill press, grinder, belt sander, etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or one year of previous experience in a manufacturing environment/ manufacturing assembly.
