Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Validate and process incoming shipments, ensuring that the contents match the order specifications.
• The safe and efficient handling of merchandise is dependent on the use of appropriate equipment.
• Undertake the assigned task of selecting, packaging, and getting orders ready for dispatch while following the established procedures.
• Play a role in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting.
• Reduce the chances of accidents or injuries by adhering to the established safety protocols and procedures.
• The proper maintenance of the warehouse includes keeping it clean and well-arranged.
• Foster a collaborative environment that supports open communication, active participation, and teamwork among members of the warehouse team.

Qualifications:

• Prospective candidates must possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification to apply.
• Although prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment would be advantageous, it is not a must-have.
• Showing a strong proclivity for exactitude in managing inventory.
• Proficiency in carrying hefty objects and performing grueling tasks.
• Inventory management systems often require a minimum level of computer competency when it comes to navigating software.
• Certified in forklift operation or willing to gain certification if necessary.
