The Opportunity
Design Operations is looking to hire for an exciting new role for Adobe Design, Engineering Program Manager. This position plays a meaningful leadership role in Adobe Design's effort to improve our Spectrum engineering pipeline and the strategic direction of the product. This position will play a key role in driving strategic cross- organizational, multi-team development programs that deliver high-quality technical solutions to the design system.
What you'll Do
  • Work closely with engineering director, engineering managers, and senior engineers to ensure accurate assessment, prioritization, visibility of near and long-term product strategies for Spectrum CSS, SWC and Spectrum iOS.
  • Collaborate with engineering to help establish timelines, priorities, scope and deliverables for our Figma tooling pipeline, design data system and Spectrum websites.
  • Communicate to partners the vision and roadmap for how asset delivery will continuously improve over a forward-looking period
  • Leads end-of-sprint rituals such as demos and retrospectives and handles critical operational infrastructure such as communication channels and agile planning tools.
  • Coordinating cross-team dependencies and identifying gaps to remove blockers from the development lifecycle
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting Spectrum usage metrics for implementations, data gathering, formatting and sharing reports with product and design leadership.
  • Identify potential project risks, build mitigation plans and engage the right partners to remove obstacles to success.
  • Anticipate operational inefficiencies, infrastructure inefficiencies and develop improvements or new processes, and get consensus from key stakeholders
  • Proactively engage with customers, and be the point of contact for customer feedback.
  • You'll capture input through surveys and other mechanisms about developer satisfaction and the usage of Spectrum that we can use to improve our implementations
  • Continuously seeking out areas of improvement for process and collaboration, removing obstacles, and accelerating the team's progress throughout ideation, development, and go-to-market.

What you need to succeed
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a technology environment.
  • Proven delivery of large-scale programs and projects.
  • A genuine passion for user experience and design with an understanding of the design and engineering process.
  • Experience with Scrum, familiarity with Figma, GitHub & Jira. Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills to lead in an environment of ambiguity and a diverse range of partners.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $102,900 -- $190,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
