WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE

cdi specializes in customized foodservice distribution to national and regional restaurant chains throughout the southeast. We deliver frozen, cooler and dry products to our customers on scheduled routes.

This position has the responsibility for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the cdi Facility. The function of the Warehouse Handyman is to perform basic maintenance and safety duties that assist in providing a safe and positive cultural environment for our distribution facility. This position performs a variety of duties related to the upkeep of warehouse areas and assets, as well as general project/ticket work associated with this facility.

• Performs some repairs and maintenance of buildings by patching walls, painting walls and trim, replacing lighting fixtures.
• Replaces damaged ceiling and floor tiles, repairs and builds office furniture; inspects facilities, fixtures, and material handling equipment to determine repairs needed; uses basic hand and power tools.
• Performs general safety inspections both scheduled and in the currently assigned job site area.
• Undertake light installation or carpentry (i.e. fix cabinets)
• Diagnose and fix minor electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs.
• Complete assigned responsibilities and assist in emergencies.
• Identify and report the need for major repairs.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
