Medical Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist medical professionals in patient care by taking vital signs, preparing patients for examination, and documenting medical history
• Maintain clean and organized patient rooms, ensuring necessary supplies are readily available
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with patients to ensure efficient flow of clinic
• Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Perform basic diagnostic tests and collect specimens for laboratory testing
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by medical professionals
• Assist in medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of medical professionals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical assisting preferred
• Proven experience working in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
