What You Will Do:

Providing timely assistance and support over the phone or online is another important aspect of the job. This involves answering customer inquiries, resolving issues they may encounter, and ensuring they receive prompt and effective assistance:

  • Making customers feel appreciated at Lowe's through professional and welcoming assistance, and providing them with the guidance and resources they need for their home improvement project.
  • Accurately validating loaded tickets and processed orders to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery to customers.
  • Establishing safety protocols and guidelines can lead to a reduced likelihood of accidents in the workplace.

Lowe's proficiently approaches customer service by designating the Pro Services Coordinator as the vital point of interaction with customers. The responsibilities of the associate are to ensure the customer's satisfaction by aiding them in selecting the right products that align with their needs. It is the associate's job to make sure the price tags of all items are correct, providing accurate quotes, and meeting all the customers' requests. Moreover, the associate must be competent in customer service, available for guiding them, and carrying their merchandise. The associate also needs to ensure the safety and security of the store entrance.

Pro Services Coordinator must be able to communicate with a wide range of clients, from homeowners and individual customers to builders and contractors. They must establish good communication with clients, inquire for feedback to improve customer service, and follow up with clients to make sure their needs have been met.

Travel Requirements:

There is no requirement for consistent traveling in this role, however, the person may have to travel occasionally for attending meetings, getting trained, or to assist other stores in close proximity.

Additionally, we're interested in applicants who are adaptable and flexible. We understand that things don't always go according to plan, and we need people who can adjust to changing circumstances and still maintain a positive attitude. This also means being open to feedback and constructive criticism:

  • The position is segregated as Hourly Full Time and Hourly Part Time, with assigned hours of 39 to 40 or up to 25 hours per week, respectively. However, supplementary hours may be necessary to meet the store's needs.
  • We are looking for someone who can work during the morning, afternoon, and evening hours on any day of the week.
  • The ability to carry out occupational duties that may necessitate prolonged standing, sitting, and other arduous physical tasks.
  • CSAs who are assigned to the Greeter departments of certain stores must have the physical ability to lift at least 10 pounds without assistance and can lift more than 10 pounds with or without the help of someone else.
  • CSAs assigned to all departments, except for the Greeter department, must possess the physical strength and capability to lift 25 pounds without assistance, and may handle over 25 pounds of weight with or without help.

It is imperative to possess specific attributes that are crucial for success in any endeavor:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience of six months handling a computer and being able to perform tasks like inputting, accessing, modifying, and outputting data.
  • I have gained substantial experience in operating smartphones and tablets that are widely used in retail settings, thanks to my stint in the industry for 6 months.
  • Certain laws make it compulsory to obtain licensure or registration related to sales.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • As an experienced sales professional of 6 months, my skillset includes identifying customer needs and proposing the most suitable products. This includes selling items such as credit cards, installations and add-ons, while also clearly explaining the benefits of warranties and product features.
  • Through six months' of work in the retail field, I have solidified my ability to deliver top-tier customer service. This includes successfully handling any issues or complaints customers may have, assisting in the search for specific products, greeting customers with a smile, answering the phone courteously, building positive customer relationships, and displaying appreciation for their patronage.
  • If the store frequently interacts with customers who speak different languages, having bilingual skills can be an added advantage.
  • Investing in a certification in areas like hardware or plumbing can lead to a fulfilling and lucrative career in the trades industry.
