Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our Logistics Department. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for the supervision and management of the Logistics team, oversee the training of all drivers, and ensuring that adequate compliance and maintenance of company vehicles is adhered to. Additional responsibilities include reviewing, maintaining and approving logistic expenses, coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods, and implementing process improvements. This is a leadership role within our organization, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of all aspects of Logistics
  • Oversee courier routes, make changes as needed, and supervision of adequate coverage
  • Review and confirm payroll timecards for Logistics team
  • Ensure company vehicles are up to date with maintenance, inspections, car washes, rotation schedule
  • Track company vehicles mileage and violations
  • Organized tracking and distribution of company vehicle EzPasses, Parking passes, ExxonMobil cards, Metro Cards, Samba Safety training tutorials, vendors, and billed invoices
  • Adherence to Logistics SOPs and HIPAA regulations
  • Ensure all Logistics SOPs are revised, when appropriate, and approved by Senior Leadership
  • Ability to receive, read, and respond to emails, texts, and phone calls while out of office
  • Act as a resource for training of new hires; ensure all Logistics personnel complete successfully their seasonal and annual training
  • Responsible tracking of Logistics inventory and disbursement of company apparel
  • Oversee company warehouse inventory, update stock, submit orders, and verify shipment deliveries
  • Be able to provide additional customer service as needed for logistics related incoming client calls
  • Assist with preparation of supplies for next business day, if needed.
  • Collaborate with other managers, supervisors and customers to resolve issues
  • Oversee Logistics personnel including but not limited to provide continuous guidance and feedback, ensure personnel adherence to proper procedures and corrective action, lead team meetings, conduct performance evaluations that are fair and objective, ensure that Human Resources is kept aware of the performance/productivity of each employee on an on-going basis and apprises of situations which may require disciplinary action
  • Provide reports to senior leadership
  • Coordinate departmental presentations to Senior Leadership
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving history
  • 3+ years of logistical managerial experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Own a reliable car with required minimum liability insurance coverage
  • Successfully pass MVR and background check

  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to compile and analyze data, strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with contractors/outside vendors
  • Hands on experience working in urgent situations
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk, computer-use
  • Occasional periods of driving
  • Frequent standing, walking
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, climb stairwells
