Responsibilities:

• Execute responsibilities associated with receiving, storing, and dispatching products while achieving productivity, quality, safety, behavior, and attendance goals.
• Achieve efficient and effective completion of inbound and outbound transactions within distribution centers by appropriately leveraging established processes, equipment, tools, and technology.
• Carry out warehouse duties safely by employing established methods, procedures, and tools, reaching performance goals for productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.
• Functions may consist of a variety of tasks such as receiving, storing, arranging, verifying, picking, wrapping, refilling, checking, shipping, creating boxes, etc.
• Safety and regulatory compliance are top priorities at Grainger. Therefore, all product movement, handling, and storage must be conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA requirements, and Hazardous Material standards.
• Carry out essential housekeeping tasks to maintain a healthful and structured work area.
• Show a willingness to continually improve processes with the aid of Grainger's quality system.
• Utilize PIE (Process Improvement Events) in the appropriate way.
• PIE equipment includes an array of machinery such as Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett, and Turret Truck.
