Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Specialist

Job Description: Join our team as a Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Specialist and help keep our heavy machinery in top shape. As a specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining trucks, bulldozers, power shovels, and other heavy equipment needed for construction operations.

Job Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance of vehicles and heavy equipment, including replacement of brake actuators, batteries, starter motors, alternators, mechanical fuel pumps, and hydraulic cylinders.
• Troubleshoot problems in vehicle engines, electrical systems, steering, brakes, and suspensions.
• Repair and replace damaged body parts, hydraulic arms, shovels, and grader blades.
• Establish and follow maintenance schedules.

Skills You'll Learn:

• Repair and replace body panels, fenders, and radiators
• Troubleshoot hydraulic systems.

Requirements:

• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements
