Job Description: Join our team as a Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Specialist and help keep our heavy machinery in top shape. As a specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining trucks, bulldozers, power shovels, and other heavy equipment needed for construction operations.
Job Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance of vehicles and heavy equipment, including replacement of brake actuators, batteries, starter motors, alternators, mechanical fuel pumps, and hydraulic cylinders.
- Troubleshoot problems in vehicle engines, electrical systems, steering, brakes, and suspensions.
- Repair and replace damaged body parts, hydraulic arms, shovels, and grader blades.
- Establish and follow maintenance schedules.
Skills You'll Learn:
- Repair and replace body panels, fenders, and radiators
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
Requirements:
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Must meet citizenship requirements
