Job Summary:

Your job as a Life/Health/Retirement Income distribution model specialist involves determining how to acquire, deepen, and retain customers through a range of digital and personal channels.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish a clear understanding of customer needs and requirements in the areas of Life, Health or Retirement Income and tailor offerings to meet those needs.
  • Support your team members in achieving their career goals by providing them with opportunities to take on new responsibilities and roles.
  • Achieving high levels of member satisfaction and net promoter scores should be a priority as it directly reflects the success and growth of any organization.
  • Ensure changes are successfully integrated and communicate any new developments in business initiatives.
  • Establish a superlative team through recruiting, coaching, and performance administration to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Legal and regulatory risks are also common in today's business environment. Companies must stay abreast of changes in the legal and regulatory landscape to avoid non-compliance issues, which can result in hefty fines, legal action, or damage to reputation. To mitigate this risk, companies should maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and seek legal counsel when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • The role demands an individual to either hold an accredited university degree or have an equivalent amount of experience within the financial industry.
  • The candidate should possess people management experience of at least four years, preferably in a complex matrix setting.
  • Possessing expertise in high-level business strategy and the capability to work alongside critical partners in an effective manner.
  • The specified position requires a candidate to have obtained FINRA licenses Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65), 24, 51 (or 53), or be capable of doing so.
  • Within 90 days of joining the company, employees must have a valid life/health license.

Salary:

  • We have determined that the appropriate salary range for someone with your qualifications and experience is between $142,500.00 and $256,500.00, based on current market demand.
  • Pay incentives can be granted to individuals based on their work performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
  • The Long Term Incentive Plan is designed to motivate executive employees in the long term.
