Metal Blander and Deburr operator

• We are seeking a highly valued Metal Blander and Deburr operator to join our team.

The responsibility of a Metal Blender/Sander is to smooth, polish, or sand metal components through hand-held sanding equipment.

Responsibilities:

• De-burr metal components to meet the quality specifications.
• Perform self-inspection to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Examine work pieces for defects and report to the team leader if found.
• On occasions, perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Wear Personal Protection Equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• De Burr metal frames to meet quality specifications.
• Perform self-inspection to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Examine work pieces for defects and report to the Supervisory level.

Requirements:

• High school or GED diploma.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Work understanding and usage of power tools.
• Great communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

As a Metal Blender and Deburr operator, you will be working in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This environment involves exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. You will primarily be working in a standing position for up to 6 plus hours per day, with some duties requiring sitting for short periods of time. It's important to note that you must be capable of lifting 0-50 lbs. in the proper ergonomic position.
