Job Description:

This job contributes to Starbucks success by building and communicating production plans for coffee that goes into our retail stores. Will work cross functionally with manufacturing, logistics and other supply chain teams to ensure supply of coffee. Great opportunity to help define inventory strategy for coffee at Starbucks!

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross functional supply chain teams to ensure supply of coffee at our distribution centers


• Evolve and execute inventory planning strategies for retail coffee


• Work closely with demand planning and capacity planner to define inventory strategy for coffee in our network


• Work with external suppliers/manufacturers for coffee production


• Develop production plans and communicates them to the manufacturing team


• Key member of the team launching promotional seasonal coffees in our stores

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


• Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with partners


• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing


• Experience in a supply chain operations role (2 years)


• Detailed knowledge of inventory management concepts and operations
