Maitenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will be crucial in performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventive maintenance.
Duties:
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any potential issues or malfunctions
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot equipment problems using schematics, logic controllers, and other technical resources
- Fabricate parts or components as needed to repair or replace damaged equipment
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during all maintenance activities
- Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency
Skills:
- CNC experience required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding electrical systems
- Welding skills for basic repairs or fabrication tasks
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong leadership skills to supervise maintenance staff or coordinate with external contractors
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
