We currently have an opening for an Internal Communication Manager to join our Home Office in Winter Park, FL. This role reports to the VP L&D and Internal Communication, the Communications Manager is responsible for strategizing and driving internal communications to ensure operational efficiencies and thought leadership. This individual partners with internal stakeholders and creates and delivers compelling, clear, and consistent content that engages Team Members and is aligned with our Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals of our organization.
Overview & Responsibilities:
Develops and leads the implementation of the internal communications strategy for the organization including key messaging, communication channels and tactics.
Develops and maintains a content calendar to ensure communications are timely and relevant
Manages and facilitates internal communication projects to drive goals and objectives such as organizational announcements, and strategic projects.
Partners with internal key stakeholders across the organization to ensure all internal communications are aligned with business objectives and external communication strategy and support our Mission, Vision, Values
Creates and delivers internal communications content ensuring all Team Members are informed and kept up to date including crisis, immediate communications, organizational announcements, email, newsletters, intranet content, videos, town hall meetings, virtual gatherings, and presentations.
Creates, Manages, and Executes weekly Podcasts including scripting content, recording, editing, and posting.
Ensures all internal communications is clear, consistent, and aligned with the Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategy of the organization.
Sources external vendors that provide various technology support such as video, podcasting support, recording studio, presentations, editing, and production.
Creates script video content, presentations, and podcasts. Partner with videographers to execute filming, editing, and production of learning solutions.
Manages and maintains internal communication tools, ensuring all are up-to-date and user-friendly.
Manages all metrics related to Internal Communications to measure impact on business results i.e., PoliteMail, Intranet, MS Office.
Manages and oversees internal events and other initiatives that promote team member engagement and strengthen our culture.
Identifies opportunities to promote Team Member Engagement which fosters a positive work environment.
Keeps abreast of developments in internal and external communications, as well as the field of Communications.
Requirement & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in a relevant field
7+ years of experience preferred in corporate communications, marketing, or public relations.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Experience with content creation and delivery, including email, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations.
Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization.
Knowledge of best practices for internal communications
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing and maintaining internal communication tools is a plus (internal email software, intranet, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization.
Familiarity with graphic design programs (Adobe, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc.) and video editing programs
A passion for internal/team member communications as a key culture-building tool to help boost engagement, inclusion, and belonging.
Broad knowledge of communications processes, analytics, procedures, best practices, resources, and networks
Able and willing to travel up to 15% as needed.
