Job Summary:

Drivers that transport various hazardous materials and chemicals safely and competently utilise specialized tanker trucks designed for bulk product transportation. The job requires a deep understanding of safety procedures, strict compliance with regulations, and close attention to detail. Therefore, it is essential to prioritize the proper handling and delivery of potentially life-threatening substances.

Responsibilities:

• The driver has the critical task of ensuring that chemicals are transported efficiently and delivered promptly to different construction sites
• Drive tanker trucks containing chemical and hazardous materials safely and with due diligence.
• The successful delivery of materials to job sites hinges on the ability to operate a truck safely and skillfully on public roads and job sites
• Comprehensive checking of fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls to ensure safe operation
• The process of loading and unloading chemical materials requires adherence to strict safety procedures
• Regularly check multiple gauges during the operation of your vehicle
• By logging your vehicle's mileage on a daily basis, you can help ensure that your car remains in good working condition and that any issues are addressed quickly and efficiently
• The Driver should do everything in their power to secure the quality of the products
• Undertake minor service and maintenance duties on equipment.
• Follow the rules and guidelines outlined in your employee contract, and seek clarification if you are unsure of any of the guidelines
• It is imperative to keep the vehicle in a neat and orderly condition
• Safety requirements and procedures must be strictly observed at all times to ensure the wellbeing of all those involved.
• Competent to perform tasks in any atmospheric predicament
• To avoid any mishaps while transporting cargo, it is important to ensure that it is adequately secured.
