Frito Lay is hiring for Inventory Control Specialist

The work schedule mandates the completion of 4-5 working days per week, with the standard amount of hours worked per week being 25. Various warehouse duties are assigned to Frito-Lay Inventory Control Specialist. Although you'll start off at Frito-Lay, there's potential for career growth within the larger PepsiCo organization. We don't close our doors, so your schedule may need to be adaptable to the round-the-clock service we provide. Part-time positions offer flexibility, with an average workload falling in the range of 20-25 hours a week. Physical labor is a fundamental part of working in a warehouse. Individuals who are not familiar with working in this atmosphere should be aware that they will be standing for an estimated 90% to 95% of their workday.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the movement of pallets and cases to and from trailers, while also gathering and storing unused pallet boards
  • The training and certification we offer will enable you to confidently and safely handle a forklift on any site
  • When it comes to loading trailers, you have the option of using carts or stacking cases on the floor of the truck
  • Accept the delivery of items and appropriately distribute them. Also, assist in the weekly confirmation of stock levels
  • A comprehensive cleaning plan is necessary to ensure that all areas of the building, even hard-to-reach spots, are cleaned and sanitized regularly
  • You may be called upon to perform tasks as diverse as sweeping the floor, cleaning the trailer, or taking out the rubbish
  • One of the necessities of this job is the ability to lift objects that range from 15 to 50 pounds in weight

Working Conditions:

The factories where Frito-Lay produces its snacks are known for being very spacious and quite loud. Although we prioritize the comfort of all individuals, we encounter limitations in our control over the temperature levels in our warehouses. Indoor warehouse working conditions can be influenced by seasonal changes and shifts in the weather.

Requirements:

  • You must have celebrated your eighteenth birthday to be considered an adult
  • Working on weekends, holidays, and off-shift is a requirement of the job
  • It is possible to manage 15 to 50 pounds of weight with or without reasonable accommodation
  • You can maintain a standing position and move around for an extended period, with or without the need for reasonable adjustments
