WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As an AV Operations Specialist, you ll be an integral part of a Technology team that is responsible for ensuring users have a phenomenal experience working with AV and presentation technologies throughout Nike s World Headquarters facilities! You ll be assigned to manage a sub-campus at our headquarters that may include 10-15 buildings and 200-300 conference rooms and other spaces with installed AV systems. You ll be encouraged to know the status of all AV systems on your campus and ensure that any that aren t operating effectively are recorded, reported, and fixed as quickly as possible.

You excel when working in a fast-paced, high-volume team-oriented environment. You demonstrate a high level of initiative, are a self-starter, and problem solver, and are judicious in carrying out assignments with minimal direction.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

If this is you, you ll be fixing typical AV systems and their components and have familiarity with video conferencing codecs, displays, video transmitters and receivers, AV controllers and interfaces, basic network terminology and how networking supports AV system function, and hardware management suites to monitor status and update configurations as you work to ensure functionality.

In a typical week, you may be asked to follow a sign-off checklist to test out and ensure a newly installed system is fully functional and ready to be handed over to you for operational support. An admin may ask you for help walking their team through how to best use a video conferencing room during a Zoom call and to provide tips and tricks. You may need to visit all conference rooms in a building and ensure your records are up-to-date and accurate for a coming building renovation so that you can provide details on what is new and should be kept vs. what is old and should be replaced. Someone will advise you about a broken room and you ll need to assess the room to see if you can get it back up and running yourself or connect with our operations coordinator to assign a vendor to support the repair.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

We work as a team that has similar duties covering different buildings. You can rely on them for help and backup and you ll become a valuable resource for them, as well. We train and partner with our building Experience teams and tech Performance Bar teams to ensure users get help as quickly as possible and problems are tracked.

You ll be responsible for seeking out key employees that support teams and conference rooms in your assigned buildings; building and managing relationships with them to ensure their teams technical needs are met. You ll be the user liaison and the main point of contact for all users AV needs advising them to appropriate partners when requests are outside of your scope. You ll also be responsible for training users on your campus to ensure the adoption and maximal use of installed AV systems.

You ll also coordinate with vendors that implement installations and repairs ensuring that installations are completed and accepted and that they get what they need from Nike to complete repairs.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• 3+ years of proven experience in Audio Visual industry preferred

• Demonstrated strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail

• Strong team and customer service orientation

• Deep technical writing skills to enable others to fix sophisticated issues

• Work in MS Excel and Outlook at intermediate-to-advanced levels

• Easily learn new software applications and tools

• Ability to read, speak and understand English

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a varied workload

• Self-starter, eager to learn, results-oriented and creative problem solver

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
