Position Details:

You Will:

  • Your responsibility as an assistant to a Regional Metalworking Manager entails keeping yourself aware of prevailing manufacturing and maintenance industry trends, training opportunities, and market projections. By leveraging this knowledge, you'll be able to address customer needs properly.
  • Inspire customers to innovate and explore new digital frontiers by emphasizing the benefits of technology and its role in business growth.
  • Team up with the sales teams and key suppliers at Grainger to have a say in customer strategy and foster an increase in metalworking sales.
  • We offer comprehensive assessments of metalworking applications that include evaluations of every step in the process, from raw materials to finished product.
  • Documenting value and cost savings can also give your sales team measurable metrics to use during prospective conversations.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that they have the necessary product knowledge and sales tools to effectively promote metalworking products.
  • Leverage Salesforce's capabilities to organize sales material, track customer interactions, and document cost savings analysis.

You Have:

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree or relevant work experience that meets the qualifications
  • To be considered for an industry or distribution role, applicants must have acquired a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry or distribution realm
  • A perfect fit for the position would be a candidate who has had field sales experience.
