Customer Service Representative

The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for maintaining and retaining clients per the agency guidelines. The CSR is also part of a team in regard to the facilitation of new clients. This includes support to the Insurance Managers. The CSR is also responsible for ensuring a seamless transition between the new product purchase and further servicing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross sell/Upsell accounts by providing a complete protection review. A package for protection approach should be used.
  • Conduct Proactive annual policy reviews. Inform clients of policy changes, exclusions of coverage, and insurance coverage needs. Use every service contact as opportunity to review and remarket appropriately.
  • Inbound and outbound calls, emails, and correspondence to respond to endorsement/change requests, billing questions, policy reviews, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • Industry knowledge of product coverage contracts, and underwriting guidelines
  • Must have Property and Casualty License in State of Virginia
  • Must have other non-residence licenses as needed
