LPN Cath Lab Supervisor Position at Healthcare Facility

We are in search of a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fill the role of Cath Lab Supervisor at our facility. As a Cath Lab Supervisor, you will be integral to ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of our cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Supervisor:

• Provide leadership to the cath lab team, overseeing LPNs, technicians, and other staff.
• Develop, implement, and uphold departmental policies and procedures to uphold high-quality care standards.
• Supervise daily operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and maintaining a sterile lab environment.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures within the LPN scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient care activities, such as scheduling procedures and monitoring post-procedural recovery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Ensure staff competency through training and performance evaluations.
• Cultivate a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.

Qualifications for the Cath Lab Supervisor Role:

• Possession of a valid LPN license in the state of practice.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in sterile technique and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Knowledgeable about cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
• Dedication to patient safety and delivering quality care.
