This role will work on the Administrative Technologies Software Development Team which currently is focused on enabling Nurse Manager Staffing workflows for the Providence Organization.
Providence is calling a Student Intern, Administrative Technologies Software Development Team who will:
- Initiate the candidate to enterprise software development life cycle processes, to web application and data pipeline technologies (Azure, APIs, Angular, ETL, Databases, etc.)
- Work within a global team in an Agile setting
- Understand requirements (user stories, defects, changes)
- Brainstorm design and alternatives
- Implement code
- Test implementation
- Collaborate within a scrum team

Washington: Puget Sound Region (Redmond)
California: Orange County (Irvine)
This role is a full-time temporary non-benefitted role
This role is intended to be a summer position for a current college student or high school student that is college bound
The successful applicant for this position will be employed for a duration of time during the Summer of 2024
The program will last approximately 12 weeks and is anticipated to end around 8/30/2024, however, this may change based upon an actual start date for the role and department needs
This is a hybrid role that will require an in office presence 2-3 days per week as defined by manager and departmental needs
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Coursework/Training: Acceptance to, or current enrollment in, a four-year college or university
- Coursework/Training: A course of technical study that exposes applicants to PC administration with Microsoft Office application experience
- No actual work experience in an IS environment is required
- Previous employment should demonstrate progressively responsible job duties

- Min: $19.97
- Max: $23.64
Washington: Southern California - Orange County:
- Min: $16.90
- Max: $23.64
