Job description

Electrical technicians report to the Building manager and are responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Work performed

• Lay out and assemble basic electrical circuits and assemblies.
• Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
• Assess systems and suggest modifications to prevent future issues
• Other job duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• 5+ years experience working as an electrical technician
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience fabricating, assembling, and installing wire harnesses
• Experience installing electrical panels
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment
• Able to use hand tools and power tools
• Availability to be on call

Compensation

• $29-$31/hour depending on experience
