Carteret Community College is seeking a highly experienced, motivated, and goal-oriented Digital Communications Coordinator to join our team and help us execute crucial digital communications activities successfully. This is a part-time/temporary position, 20-25 hours per week on-campus position. The hourly pay rate is to be determined based on skill level and experience.
The Digital Communication Coordinator handles a variety of tasks related to online content. They coordinate blog posts, e-mail marketing, and press releases for distribution on college websites and social media, and maintain digital events calendar. Additionally, they provide support for website content management and editing.
Duties include:
Education: Associate degree in Communications, Digital Development, or Marketing
Experience: Excellent understanding of all major social media networks, mainly Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Familarity with WordPress.

- Coordinate our digital communications activities across a variety of channels-website, social media, email marketing, etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing department on growing organic traffic, generating leads, increasing brand awareness, and maximizing conversions
- Support the execution of our digital communications campaigns, and monitor their progress
- Ensure that all our digital communications align with our brand guidelines and that they are catered towards our target audience
- Other duties, as assigned.
