Slitter Op. (3rd 11p-730a, 20-21/hr)
Description:
Sets up, operates, and produces slit paper products using equipment in a safe manner, following specifications, and ensuring quality products produced on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviews and observes all safety rules when operating the slitting machine and lifting hoist.
• Sets up, runs, and monitors the slitting machine while ensuring processing parameters are controlled and well documented.
• Verifies output for slit width and other technical standards.

Essential Qualifications
• Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation practices required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude
Physical Requirements:
• Position requires the ability to stand, stoop, kneel and walk.
• Required to carry, balance, reach, push and pull.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Required to possess color vision and depth perception.
