Pharmacy Aide

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Aide. As a Pharmacy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include preparing prescriptions, managing inventory, providing customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our pharmacy team to learn valuable skills and gain experience in the field of pharmacy.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in the field. Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
• Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area
• Utilize computer systems to input and retrieve patient information and prescription data
• Prepare medication labels and packages
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of medications

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic computer skills, with experience in pharmacy software preferred
• Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
