ROLE DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- A portion of the engineering team is focused on integrating with utility company APIs and the other is focused on creating a scraping engine to do payments via utility company websites. As a Sr. Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Writing maintainable Ruby on Rails code
- Writing Rspec tests
- Creating and maintaining servers on AWS
- Integrating with utility company APIs in the developing world
- Writing Selenium scripts to automate fetching
- Writing scripts to analyze anomalies in bills
- Writing scripts to provide data analytics on user's bills
