Project Manager


Fisher Tank Company is looking for a motivated individual with a strong construction background to join our Project Management team in our Atascadero, CA office location. The successful candidate will have the technical and visualization skills to assess engineering drawings and project information and to plan project execution. As the principal liaison between Fisher Tank Company and the customer, Project Managers select and coordinate subcontractors, manage scheduling, coordinate construction, and handle project administration. They must be self-directed and capable of managing multiple priorities and multiple customer relationships. Project Managers must also be able to work effectively with all personnel involved in our projects, including Sales, Engineering, Construction, Drawing Control, Quality Assurance, and Safety. Fisher Tank Project Managers must be committed to building safety culture and engagement throughout the company. Through active participation in the Fisher Tank corporate safety program, Program Managers are responsible for ensuring Safety, Quality and Productivity on all Fisher projects.


Experience:



  • BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management or similar discipline preferred

  • 5 years of Project Management experience in Construction Field

  • Above ground storage tank experience preferred; refinery experience preferred

  • Success in overseeing, participating, or contributing to a project or company safety standards and programs.

  • Professional safety certifications, or training and a working knowledge of Cal OSHA/OSHA, construction safety standards, labor and environmental laws, and other safety related issues.


Requirements:



  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card and work legally in the United States

  • Must have valid driver’s license

  • Must be available to travel for work, often overnight

  • Submit to pre-employment and random alcohol and drug testing

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint

  • Excellent organizational, documentation and writing skills

  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding up to heights of 60 feet and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Set the highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of the Fisher Tank Safety procedures and best practices, ensuring compliance with company procedures

  • Assess customer safety programs and specifications and ensure Fisher Tank compliance.

  • Work with Fisher Tank Safety department to develop, review and implement jobsite safety plans.

  • Monitor construction safety performance through inspections and audits
