Seeking Sanitation Technicians for Large Packaging Plant

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality sanitation for each room of the plant including, production and offices, following all policies and procedures surrounding food safety

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Wipe down and clean all common contact surfaces on production floor and offices/restrooms

• Communicate with Sanitation Supervisor regarding work related issues

• Wear gloves at all times

• Must direct follow-up activities to address issues or concerns that threaten product contamination/safety

• Responsible for detailed cleaning and maintenance of the plant, ensuring that production/warehouse are properly cleaned and sanitized

• Refill all essential products for restrooms and breakroom

• Empty trash and recycling bins

• Perform other duties as assigned by Sanitation Supervisor
