Machine Operator

• Description:*
• Prior equipment operation experience.
• Must have all experience* (set-up/changeover, operation and troubleshooting) and be able to provide examples in detail.
• Prior position (s) that included following Standard Operating Procedures and candidate was responsible for completing production documentation and/or reports.
• Possess an understanding of FDA and cGMP production practices and understands the importance of following these practices. Prior work history working in this type of environment is preferred.
• Must be willing to work at a fast pace and multitask.
• Must be willing to stand for most of the shift.
• Must have prior experience working in a team as the equipment operator acts as the production lead working closely with 2-3 associates.
• Must be computer savvy.
• Must be committed, reliable and ambitious.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
• High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related work experience, or an AA degree with related work experience.
• Understanding of FDA and cGMP regulated production practices is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of job tasks; general to minimal supervision required.
• Able to use general/automated laboratory/production equipment.
• Computer savvy.
• Able to plan use of equipment, materials and personal time efficiently.
• Able to complete/review production-related documentation accurately.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Able to resolve production issues independently.
• Work safely and effectively in a team environment.
• Able to communicate issues and problems to supervisors.
• The work environment is fast-paced and involves the ability to quickly change priorities and multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
