We are a private practice and our long time Hygienist is retiring, now we are looking to add to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and applying fluoride/sealant treatments, Wellness scans with iTero, includes Adult and Pediatric
- Educating patients and creating a welcoming, pleasant experience at their dental visit
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health, including screening for oral diseases and abnormalities
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. Ability to stay on schedule
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff
- Ability to work as a team and willing to help your colleagues
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience with iTero and N2o certified is preferred
- Knowledge of Osha, HIPAA regulations and infection Control
- Solid knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Excellent patient assessment skills, including the ability to identify signs of periodontal disease or other oral health issues
Our hours are Mon/Wed/Thurs from 8.15am-4.30pm, Tues from 7.30am-4pm. We are looking for a Hygienist for a 4 day work week but are flexible if 3 days is preferred.
