As a Retail Clerk team member in FedEx, you have the responsibility of providing exceptional customer service at the front end of the store. Your duties will include handling customer purchases with precision and swiftness, facilitating cash and card transactions, and managing a clean and organized front area. Providing customers with essential information and helping them locate products are necessary tasks that the team member will undertake. Additionally, working in cohesion with other team members to execute tasks efficiently following established procedures and policies is fundamental to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive customers with a friendly and welcoming disposition, demonstrating a genuine interest in their needs
• Conduct swift and correct transactions to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
• A primary task I am accountable for is the handling of cash and card transactions from customers
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the front end is a must
• Assist clients in finding the answers to their questions and concerns
• Ensure all team members work together seamlessly to ensure the smooth operation of the store
• Comply with established safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace
• Execute any other obligations given

Qualifications:

• A recognition of completion of high school or its equivalent that is officially documented and recognized
• Individuals with previous experience in cashiering or dealing with customer queries are preferred
• Remarkable competence in understanding clients' requirements promptly
• Strong communication skills
• Possessing the skills required to stay focused and productive in a fast-changing work setting
• Attention to detail
• Competence to carry and relocate objects that are as heavy as 50 pounds
• Capability to work outside of standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
