Preferred Experience:

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by the office.

Advanced Hygienist Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced dental hygiene procedures with precision and expertise.
• Assess and diagnose patients' oral health conditions accurately.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Advanced Hygienist Qualifications:

• Active state license as a Dental Hygienist.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced dental hygiene procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality patient care.
• CPR certification and familiarity with dental software systems preferred.
