Medical Receptionist

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and organizational skills, as well as knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary
- Verify insurance coverage and process billing information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of medical procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Bilingual spanish/english a must
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
