Field Technician

LOCATION

Eden Prairie, MN

POSITION SUMMARY

RCL Engineering Group is seeking an individual to assist our structural engineers, building envelope consultants and project managers with on-site inspections of commercial and residential buildings including: structural components, roofing & exterior façade systems, field testing and analysis, and report preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Observing and assisting with onsite inspections of commercial and residential buildings.

· Providing field support to engineers, consultants and project managers.

· Prepare legible field notes and drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in residential/commercial roofing & facade construction.

· Possess a high level of attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve.

· Good written, verbal communication, organization, and planning skills.

· Must maintain a driver s license in good standing and have a reliable form of transportation.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Must be comfortable climbing ladders, traversing roofs & working from various lifts.

· Experience with AutoCad preferred, but not required.
