Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Highland Manor of Fallon, a skilled nursing facility. As the ADON you will be responsible for helping to oversee the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations and remain survey ready at all times
- Oversee the development and implementation of resident care plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular meetings with nursing staff to address concerns, provide updates, and promote teamwork
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and incorporate new techniques into resident care
- Ensure that resident rights are respected and upheld at all times
- Manage nursing budgets, including staffing levels, equipment, and supplies
Requirements:
- Valid Nevada LVN or RN License Required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a skilled nursing facility
- Previous experience in nurse management or leadership role is required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR) such as Point Click Care (PCC)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make critical decisions

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
