Job Summary:

Supernal requires an exceptional candidate with significant experience to steer the direction of managing engineering and technical tasks related to test installations and structures, alongside managing the entire offboard test data lifecycle. Your primary focus will be to blueprint and implement project plans, protocols, and policies that guarantee the efficient operation and maintenance of test data systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement an effective data archiving and retrieval system for efficient and easy access to data throughout the project lifecycle.
• Flight test control rooms must be able to effectively manage and prioritize telemetry data. This may involve implementing automated algorithms or software tools to help manage and organize the vast amounts of data generated during flight testing.
• Foster the development of your employees through leadership, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and performance assessment.
• Encourage robust engagement and partnerships with all stakeholders, both inside and outside the company.
• Conduct oversight and grant approval for technical approaches, products, and processes.
• Work with the PMO team to implement construction schedules.
• As a part of this role, you may have to travel frequently, with up to 25% of the time spent both nationally and internationally.
• Accomplish any further chores given.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A four-year degree in engineering or a related course of study is mandatory.
• To be considered for this position, candidates must have no less than fifteen (15) years of experience supporting flight test or analogous test programs, including five (5) years in a managerial position.
• The significance of sensors and test systems in flight test support cannot be overemphasized, as they play a crucial role in detecting, diagnosing, and prescribing necessary solutions for any potential issues.
• In today's technological age, a familiarity with data acquisition and record systems has become increasingly important.
• Advanced skills in managing and administering large databases using different software applications.
• Knowing test procedures and lab protocols is crucial.
• In order to avoid potential hazards and streamline operations, professionals in the field must become experts in Mil Standards and Digital Busses Architecture.
• Well-versed in communicating ideas in a comprehensive and articulate manner.
• Possessing excellent organizational abilities and a sharp attention to detail are critical competencies that can enhance productivity and contribute to achieving success.
• Strong skills in Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other MS Office applications demonstrates your ability to manage and analyze data with ease.

• Experienced in programming languages like SQL, VB, C++, and .NET, and their application to relational databases.

The payment scale for the specific job being mentioned fluctuates between $232,960 USD and $349,440 USD, taking into account factors such as proficiency, experience, and job location.
