Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst is a highly collaborative role in which you will work with AKC Product Managers to help them understand web metrics and assist with A/B testing on our portfolio of digital properties. To accomplish this, the individual will demonstrate a strong grasp of digital and consumer metrics along with a strong desire to synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• This is a hybrid position with a combination of remote and in-office work schedule.

Primary Job Duties

• 
  Work with AKC Product Managers to better understand digital metrics and web traffic trends across all AKC digital properties including:
  • 
    AKC.org
  • 
    Marketplace.akc.org
  • 
    Shop.akc.org
  • 
    Retrievist.akc.org
  • 
    Caninecollege.akc.org
• 
  Access and analyze digital marketing data from a variety of analytics tools
• 
  Set up and review conversion funnels for AKC goods and services. Work with Product team to make improvements that drive more sales.
• 
  Help segment our online audiences
• 
  Generate reports and provide data analysis to Marketing and other departments. Help with crafting presentations that will be shared across internal teams
• 
  GTM implementations, with the support of our development team
  • 
    Help transition from Universal Analytics to GA4

Required Skills, Specialized Knowledge and Competency Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Statistics, or related field or comparable experience. Master’s degree is a plus
• 
  2 years of experience in business intelligence and digital analytics
• 
  Experience implementing digital metrics testing strategies using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other digital measurement platforms
• 
  Some experience with databases and applications (MS SQL Server, Oracle) is helpful but not required
• 
  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to tell stories with data
• 
  Previous experience with Tableau or interest in learning the platform
