Planet Fitness is hiring for Facility Maintenance Associate

The Facility Maintenance Associate who works during the night is in charge of maintaining the cleanliness of all parts of the building, with the objective of creating a satisfying atmosphere for the customers.

The primary functions and tasks that are required for the job:

• Ensure that restrooms, locker rooms, gym equipment, and the gym floor receive a deep and thorough cleaning, as well as sanitization.
• Ensure that the necessary supplies and paper products are stocked in the locker rooms.
• The Club Manager should be informed immediately if any of the club's equipment or amenities are not functioning properly or are missing.
• The Club follows a Lost and Found Policy where members' lost belongings are to be surrendered to the Club Manager or Assistant Manager without delay.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience in custodial work is favorable.
• Being timely and dependable is an essential requirement.
• The ability to work during the third shift is mandatory.
• An upright and conscientious approach to work.
• Being able to come up with solutions on your own is an important skill to have.
• Diplomatic conduct must be upheld during all interactions, whilst utilizing appropriate demeanor and speech.
• A high school diploma/GED equivalent is a prerequisite for this job.
• Individuals are required to have attained the age of 18 years or above.

Physical Demands:

• Throughout a working shift, it is necessary to remain in a standing or walking position most of the time.
• Consistent use of hands, fingers, and arms throughout the workday.
• Some physical movement may be required during the work shift such as climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crouching.
• An ability to lift items weighing over 80 pounds occasionally is required.
• It is possible to come across hazardous substances on occasion.
