Sysco Intermountain, a USA I division, is searching for an ambitious and driven Sales Professional to join its Sales Team. This external Sales job is intended to promote Sysco's commodities and services, establish relationships with new clients and maintain existing ones while accomplishing sales and profit objectives specifically for the Ogden & North Salt Lake City, UT territory. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Target potential customers and explore new business opportunities to achieve a sustainable sales growth in the given territory.
  • Create a robust and efficient prospecting plan based on the company's account stratification goals, incorporating tools like automated outreach, lead scoring, and segmentation.
  • Scrutinize the requirements of customers' operations and suggest a mix of goods and facilities to satisfy those requirements.

  • Take part in promotional campaigns, customer engagements, and various events organized by the company.
  • Contribute and participate in meetings pertaining to sales and district affairs.
  • Keep taking part in training sessions and assist in training newly hired staff whenever necessary.
  • Make informed decisions about sales strategies by analyzing data trends and reports.
  • Perform administrative duties, for example, building sales budgets and compiling reports, maintaining sales records, responding to credit requisitions, and submitting reports accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • The prerequisite qualification for this position is a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related discipline. Alternatively, those with a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales are also eligible to apply.
  • The desired qualifications for this position include proficiency in two languages, experience in restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or as a chef.
  • The job demands a valid license with no traffic violations on record.
  • Car coverage that comes with set liability limits.
  • To qualify for the job, interested individuals must be willing to undergo pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check) and commit to the Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement, ensuring they uphold the company's values.
  • Being authorized to live or relocate to the adjacencies of the domain.
