- To record the sale of goods, pass them over the scanning window, employ a handheld scanner, or input the details utilizing the 10-key pad when necessary.
- Gain knowledge about how the company handles its money and strictly adhere to these procedures to ensure loss prevention and honesty.
- Comprehend and follow the regulations pertaining to products that are prohibited for sale, like Tobacco, Alcohol, Fireworks, and Videos.
- To minimize shrink, adhere to standard practices such as inspecting the bottom of the basket, scanning every item for accurate inventory tracking, avoiding manual transactions, and following established closing procedures.
- Ensuring timely completion of transactions to achieve productivity objectives.
- As per the company's rules, inform the designated authority if there are any irregularities in pricing.
- Stay in the know about the latest, upcoming, seasonal, and special offers.
- Customers should be informed about all the company directives, including Kroger Personal Finance, fundraising requests, fuel points, and customer service surveys, so make sure to offer that information.
- Keeping the checkout area from becoming a mess involves the regular wiping down of all surfaces to maintain their cleanliness.
- Fortify safety programs by strictly following safety procedures and identifying and reporting any unsafe conditions, and promptly notifying store management of such hazards.
- Make sure the management is aware of accidents that occur with customers or employees.
- Prompt reporting of safety threats and illicit behavior like robbery, theft or fraud, can help prevent serious consequences.
- Stay in accordance with company policies and guidelines, as well as comply with the local, state, and federal laws that have been established.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM
